Kiesler Farms History

Our great-grandfather Hilary Kiesler and his family immigrated from Bremen, Germany, in 1891. He established his trade as a blacksmith at our current location. The original building he worked out of is now known as the “pumpkin house.” From those early beginnings, the farm quickly evolved into a grain and dairy farm.

The Big Red is Your Source For Fall Color

Since 1994, John Ott, fourth-generation owner of Kiesler Farms, has consistently produced the finest, most beautiful and longest-lasting Kentuckiana-grown chrysanthemums in a rich and varied autumn palette of colors.
